what do you get for the guy who can buy himself practically anything? i've been wondering this since i first started thinking of ideas of gifts for you! i feel like for a couple's first christmas together, there's all this imaginary pressure on both of them for it to be absolutely perfect in every way, and to fit in with that i just wanted to get you the perfect gift. but in the end, i decided to not get you anything overly practical, since like i said, you are more than capable of providing for yourself. instead, i wanted to get you little things that you don't necessarily need, but that you can use anyway. i hope you like these! merry christmas, baby, i love you very much! ps please click the boxes in numerical order. :)

this one is more of a joke than anything, but i saw it and thought it was cute, and if anything you get a new mug out of it! i guess we'll find out in a few weeks whether your hands were chopped off, but yknow, it still counts!!!!!

this is for the cartoon-loving kid at heart that you are. i told you once that i was going to get this for you, and i kept my word! to be fair, though, the next time i have to leave you for a few days i'm probably gonna steal it and use it as a night shirt again >:)

this one is a bit more practical than the other ones. you can click on the above picture for a bit of a close up. this present that i got for you is a collection of hot sauces from various countries around the world: west indies cayenne hot sauce, panama's herb and spice hot sauce, pacific rim hot sauce, desert sundance sauce, amazon hot sauce with spices, oahu garlic eruption hot sauce, southwest jalapeno hot sauce, jamaican habanero hot sauce. wow, tay, say "hot sauce" one more time, right? this little doozy also said that the sauces are made with the "world's most unique peppers." of course, knowing you, you'll probably mix them all together, down all of it in one sitting, and go, "that was supposed to be HOT?!" but i figured that this was the perfect gift for someone who likes covering their taste buds with hot sauce on practically everything. it's ALSO the perfect gift because i won't be at all tempted to try any of it, so it's all yours!

lastly, here is the one that i am most most most excited to give you! unfortunately, this one isn't actually a present just yet because i don't know your schedule that well. i know you have cons and filming coming up, but i'm not sure of the dates. so i want you to look over this list and pick a date that works (under the "shows" tab), and i am going to get us plane tickets and tickets to the show. i didn't even know that alton brown had a live show until i was looking for some of his things to get for you as gifts. i'm kinda hoping that you didn't know he had a show, either, and will be so shocked and happy at receiving this gift! your ticket is going to be the vip ticket, so you get to have your turn at being a fanboy for a day and getting to meet him and ask him whatever questions - cooking or otherwise - that your heart desires, and you even get to take a picture with him! i will be there right along with you in case there are too many people there and it gets overwhelming, but i am thinking that it should be okay. i am so happy that this was available and i hope you are nearly peeing yourself over excitement after reading this! i love you!
